Carnage is pleased to offer a number of gaming tournaments this year. They range from the popular Magic Tournaments to some mayhem on the minis tables in the Flames of War Tournament: Carnagegeddon.
Our first Tournament begins Friday afternoon. Just added to the website, we will be offering a RoboRally Tournament. There will be 4 heats running in the two Friday slots with the top two players moving on to a final Battle Royal on Sunday morning.
Friday night we have the Elder Dragon Highlander Tournament. This is a fun multi player Magic variation. Check out the rules in the EDH link and come join the battle.
Saturday we have a variety of Tournaments going on thru out Carnage. We are happy to welcome back the L5R Swords Tournament beginning Saturday afternoon. Bring your Samurai and your Honor. There will also be the additional sealed Paths of the Destroyer Suicide L5R Tournament Saturday evening. Also in the CCG rooms Saturday afternoon has a sanctioned Magic Legacy Tournament and the return of the Unhinged Sealed Booster Tournament. This one is sure to be wild and crazy fun!
Saturday down in the main ball room there will be the annual Warhammer 40k Tournament beginning in the morning slot and running all day. Break out your armies and join in the Carnage. Also Saturday we will offer a tournament of the newest game to rock the board game world: Dominion. We will be running a this tournament Saturday evening. Dominion tournaments are quickly becoming popular all over the gaming world. Come try this great new game on a competitive level.
Just when you think we are out of Tournaments, Sunday we bring you a bunch more.
Again in the main ball room there will be three great tournaments for you to check out.
First beginning in the morning there will be a Warhammer Fantasy Tournament. Then beginning at 10am there will be two more Tournaments kicking off. The Flames of War Carnagegeddon and of course HIGH BANG! Both tournaments should prove to be a lot of great fun. (Hopefully the BANG! Finals will be going off at HIGH NOON!)
Also on Sunday in the CCG rooms Quarterstaff Games will be presenting Challenge Sunday. At 10am the Carnage Yu-Gi-Oh Challenge will begin. Then at 11am the Magic Challenge multi player event will kick off. So get your decks together and come join in the fun.
Finally over the course of the weekend Carnage’s longest running Tournament, The Carnage Accords, a Diplomacy tournament, will be celebrating its 8th year at the convention. This year is a little different, as the Accords is the final leg of the North East Diplomacy Grand Prix. But don’t worry you can still play in the Carnage Accords with out playing in the other three events (Temple Cons Grand Prix, The Boston Massacre and Husky Con). So come try your hand at some Diplomacy….see if you have what it takes!
